Admission Process & Eligibility for B.Tech
Eligibility:- 10+2 with 45% in (Physics, Maths & Chemistry/Computer Science)
Duration:- 4 Years comprising 8 Semesters, Full time regular engineering degree.
Admission Procedure:- 100% Seats are filled through JEE score based counseling conducted by Uttrakhand Technical University Dehradun. Out of Total Seats, 90% Seats are for Uttarakhand domiciles and 10% for All India students.
B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering (60 Seats)

With requirement of software professionals doubling every 6 months, responding to the quickly changing market demands and keeping in mind the ever changing requirement of IT Industry, NPSEI has been coming up with innovative schemes to make Computer Education “learner friendly” in its approach & more professional in its implementation by constantly updating the curriculum to suit the current market requirements.
B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering (60 Seats)
Every period in human history has witnessed dissemination of Information, control of a process to assure consistency and transmission in receiving data and its processing while maintaining its integrity. It is very difficult to talk about expertise because life long learning is the requirement that every professional must have. We have to be perpetually a seeker of knowledge to update our skills. Our division of Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering while teaching various subjects, also assures that each student has a solid foundation on which to build upon throughout their professional carrier. At NPSEI we make it our routine business to supplement our students knowledge base through distinguished seminars and workshop to fill and bridge the gaps traditional teaching leaves.
B.Tech Electrical Engineering (60 Seats)
Electrical engineering, often referred to as the electrical engineering (EE), is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity. It is a very broad area that encompasses the design and study of various electrical, such as electrical circuits, generators, motors, transformers, magnetic devices & materials, other electromagnetic/electromechanical devices, optical fibers etc.
B.Tech Mechanical Engineering (60 Seats)
With the globalization and opening up of Indian economy, world’s major automobile players like Honda, Hyundai, Daewoo have established in India. Major US Companies in power and IT have given a new thrust to the stagnating Indian economy as well as has opened up a number of jobs in the field of Mechanical Engineering. To cater the growing need of technical sound Engineers, the department of Mechanical Engineering at NPSEI has been established in a manner so as to give their students the best of all things, besides giving knowledge about the basics in the field of Mechanical Engineering, students are carrying out designing on latest version AUTOCAD – 2003 and work on various trainer machines like CNC train.
B.Tech Civil Engineering (60 Seats)
Civil Engineering is an age-old profession and has been defined traditionally as “a great art, on which the wealth and the well-being of the whole of society depends. Its essential feature, as distinct from science and the arts, is the exercise of imagination to fashion the products processes and people needed to create a sustainable physical and natural environment. It requires a broad understanding of scientific principles, knowledge of materials and the art of analysis and synthesis. It also requires research team work, leadership and business skills.” A Civil Engineer is someone who practices all or part of this art. Our old monuments and structures speak a lot about practical development of Civil Engineering in this country.
